Welcome to the Milpitas High School community of over 3100 students and staff. Milpitas High
School has an excellent educational program taught by a talented and dedicated faculty and has the support of parents as well as the entire Milpitas community. Milpitas High School is committed to providing each student with an opportunity to acquire the knowledge and critical skills necessary to be successful in an increasingly competitive collegiate and workplace environment. The instructional goals established for each subject area are clearly tied to the achievement of rigorous content and performance standards and to our Expected School-Wide Results(ESLRs). During the past two years, 30 content based Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) have been established in order to help our faculty facilitate a collaborative means by which to increase student learning. Through a comprehensive system of support programs, we ensure that all students are connected to the school. This is accomplished through a wide range of both academic and extra-curricular programs. Milpitas High School continues to work toward realizing the Milpitas Unified School District vision of narrowing the achievement gap, and at the same time, meeting the educational needs of all students. We are proud of the progress we have made towards these ends and will continue to strive for academic success for all students.
