Kwanzaa is not a religious holiday, nor is it meant to replace Christmas. It is a time when African Americans and other cultures come together and celebrate Family, Community and History. KWANZAA is a time to remember our past, re-assess our priorities and re-energize our community. The 7 Principles of Kwanzaa: Unity, Self Determination, Cooperative Economics, Collective Work and Responsibility, Purpose, Creativity and Faith. Please join us on December 19, 2009 for this historical event, the first Kwanzaa Festival at History Park in San Jose, CA.
